Code of Conduct

CODE | OF | CONDUCT

Balancing
* ETHICS
* BEHAVIOR
* BEST PRACTICES
* MONEY, and
* JUSTICE

As a professional neighborhood strategic planning organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, we are bound by practices we subscribe to 24/7/366.

The practices are bold and are of high standards for providing public customer care.

We hold ourselves responsible, hold the public accountable and hold those that represent and or receive funding and resources on behalf of the public accountable for social responsibility and civility.

We consider these practices as our Code of Conduct.

We commit to:
• Conducting business in a manner that provides bold leadership, accountability and reflect positively on the people and issues we hold of value.

• Embracing and fostering an inclusive business climate of respect for all people.

• Challenging the status quo, pushing the envelope and asking the hard questions, with expected results.

• Acting and representing within our areas of professional competency and authority honestly and without exaggeration and misrepresentation.

• Outreach to parents, leaders of the neighborhood, representatives of government services, elected officials, decision makers of corporations and donors, while striving to make the environment we live in a Smart Growth environment for all.

• Recognizing the rights to privacy by helping to ensure that information shared in a verbal, written or electronic form are protected.

• Recognizing “cultural competences” as a value and pursuing growth and success by sharing knowledge, trends, expertise and skills to advance policies, programs and understandings of mutual value.

• Honoring commitments, striving for clarity and mutual understanding through complete, accurate and timely communications, while respecting legal and contractual rights of others.

• Actively pursuing educational growth through training, sharing of knowledge, expertise and skills, to advance the meeting industry.

From time-to-time, this document will be updated to support our “Smart Growth”.

CN-CFNBA Code of Conduct File

During the coarse of our research of public-service organizations and statutory and government-funded departments, committees, and offices; some interesting things have surfaced regarding Code of Conduct.

This file has been created to “identify” individuals and organization behavior that is not in-line with better/best customer care and civility. For some it is a thick “culture”; and, for others it falls into lack of Moral Will and going along with wrong behavior.

Accountability
For those organizations that receive government and philantropic funding that are identified as arrogant, refuse to respond, refuse to have dialog to address issues of concern, we will notify them, share our thoughts, and place them in a neighborhood monitoring capacity for 6–12 months.

At the end of the time imposed, if there has been no real dialog for readdress, we will publish their deed(s) and our efforts for address for public scrutiny.
