SOME CHARACTERISTICS ARE:

(1). a resistence to “connectivity”

(2). a refusal to share public information

(3). a delay/refusal to meet and/or share “public” information

(4). failure to return calls timely

(5). failure to include People of Color and the Working Poor at the decision making and pioneering table

(6). top down and autocratic leadership and operation

(7). heads of departments and committees buffered by staff;

(8). resistance to hear of change(s).

(9). the notion you can not change the status quo, and

(10) disconnect between the powers to be FROM the powers that should be

A Culture of Status Quo
One of the things that has surfaced during our research and creation of the 5-Year Signature Plan (2005–2010) is a “Culture of Status Quo” that promotes arrogance, cronyism, bad behavior, lack of civility, unearned gratitude, waste, non-connectivity; and, ineptness by those in authority.

We have also found too much “wait-and-see by the People for true change for them. It is very visible daily as we watch/read/hear the television, newspapers, emails, radio, text messages, billboards, conversations, town meetings, conferences, blogs, and individual-to-individual dialog.

Our Solution:
Connectivity-Connectivity-Connectivity for a More Perfect Union Movement.

It comes from merging our goal of our Smart Growth 5-Year Signature Plan goal of “connectivity” of residential, commercial, light industrial and institutional (school/church/social/ government) stakeholders + the U. S. Constitution Preamble + Candidate Barack Obama Race Speech.

Our contribution to see that “abrigements” are curtailed and a more healthier environment is there for ALL, we offer:

CONNECTIVITY FOR A MORE PERFECT UNION MOVEMENT

To become a committed participant of the Connectivity For a More Perfect Union Movement we wish to prepare your mindset for what the journey is about and why it is important to take the journey.

To do that, we offer scholarly thoughts from time-to-time to lighten the way.

Here are the first five (5) that are a MUST reading for your journey. They are:
