“Our GOALS dictate that we seek those who see the signifance of “connectivity” with their service offerings and supporting in unison an idea, cause, project, or initiative”; by means necessary, said CEO Glass.
Campaign Neighborhood - CFNBA is aggressively seeking partners to be “Champions”.
Individuals and organizations sign-on for at least one year to help support the platform/foundation of the 5-Year Signature Plan(2005–2010).
The roles and responsibilities of the Champions are:
• AMBASSADOR
public relations representative at gatherings
• CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT
consulting services by CN-CFNBA
• Sponsor/DONOR
event and/or project donations
• FUND-raising
raising funds to support various initiatives and capital projects
• HOSPITALITY
neighborhood coordinators and greeters
• SPEAKING
member of speaker’s bureau - get the message out
We have separated the Champion recruitment into three (3) groups. They are:
- Individuals - high school and college-level students, seniors, parents, educators, professionals, advocates, writers, artists, elected officials and celebrities.
- Organizations - block clubs, parent associations, neighborhood organizations, media(radio, television, newspaper magazine) civic organizations, foundations and chambers of commerce.
- Institutions - churches, department of public instruction, school districts, teacher and administrator organizations, school board organizations, regents, academia; and government(local/state/federal).

DISCERNMENT
Management Team
The 5-Year Signature Plan (2005–2010) Management and Research team is lead by Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Campaign Neighborhood - CFNBA.

The management team members are chosen through a discernment process.
They are asked by Mary Glass to attend the “Discernment Process” after they or someone have submitted their name. Individuals can submit through the Champion volunteer process.
They are subsequently selected through the Discernment Process - a self and peer evaluation and selection process.
Selected individuals are ask to volunteer/commit to at least one year, two or 3-year timeframe.
The team will select a convenient time for the regular meetings and select ad hoc committees.
These meetings are open to the public - first come, first seated to capacity; unless deemed “closed” by the leadership.

Got an interest in making Milwaukee neighborhoods flourish, create quality of life opportunities and economic development sustainable growth from a “scaffolding/infrastructure” focus?
Want the opportunity of fine-tuning your writing talents, human relations skills and research skills for the Smart Growth 5-Year Signature Plan (2005–2010)?
Want the opportunity of being one of the authors listed in the credits of the plan for work that will help make Milwaukee a better place for ALL to live, work, learn, play, worship, vote, grow businesses and families.
Campaign Neighborhood - CFNBA is in its third year of the Signature Plan and could use your assistance.

Thousands will gather June 6–8 in Minneapolis-St. Paul. This inspiring event will offer bold visions, new ideas and concrete solutions to building a better media system. Last year it was in Memphis, TN.
